Notes from Green Thumb Farm

Category:

November is here and our harvesting continues.  Our fall greens - tatsois, pak chois, broccoli raabs, and arugula all are thriving in the cold temperatures.  Our problems with our tomatoes and peppers seem only a distant memory as we begin picking broccolis and cauliflowers.  Lettuces, leeks, celery root, and jerusalem artichoks, thyme, rosemary, and sage are all doing well and will be brought in over the next several weeks.  Winter radishes - china white, china rose, isato rose, black spanish, and japenese daikons will be brought in also - these are delicious grated up and added to salads, sandwiches, or stir fry.

So, enjoy all of fall's vegetable bounty while it lasts - only a few more weeks left.

Organically yours,

Farmer Bill
