In case you don't want to just eat the grapes we received this week, think about making this super-easy, tasty juice.
Rinse the grapes. Take the grapes (include any squashed ones, no need for waste) off the stems and put in pot, discard the stems. Well, I guess that's waste, but stems aren't edible I think. Anyway, add a little water (perhaps 1/4 cup, depending on how many grapes you use), and mash the grapes with a potato masher. Bring the grapes and water to a simmer, simmer for 10 minutes. About halfway through, mash the grapes some more. Stir the grapes a few times while it's simmering to be sure it doesn't burn.
After 10 minutes, pour the grapes through a strainer or cheesecloth, if you have it, into a bowl big enough to fit your strainer. Allow the juice to drip from the grapes as long as you can wait to drink the juice, at least a few hours (I've read that overnight is the best, but I'm too impatient for that).
Done. Easy, huh? This juice is MUCH stronger than what you'll buy in the store, so I dilute it with water, although you could use seltzer.
