Note from Green Thumb Farm

Note from Green Thumb Farm:

Welcome back for another Season!

Our season of growing is in full swing. Many of our crops are in the ground and ahead of schedule from last year. Our Strawberry crop was the earliest since we've been growing them (over 45 years). We've never picked berries before the 1st of June - but this year we have.
Because of the early season our Farm Tour and strawberry picking is moved up to June 19th, a Saturday. It is open to all CSA members, including immediate family of members and share partners. A walking tour of one of our early fields with peas, lettuces, squash and beans will be followed by picking - 1 quart per person, no charge for tour and berries.

Directions: Take the second right after our farm stand (at 829 Montawk Highway, Watermill). This is Rose Hill Road. Our field is the first one on the right. We will meet at the gate.
Our first tour will begin at 10 AMĀ and will run every hour. The last tour will begin at 1 PM.
For more information, call the farm 9 to 5 daily: (631) 726-1900

We hope all can come out to meet and talk with Farmer Bill and pick some berries. It is a rain or shine event so dress accordingly!

Organically yours,
Farmer Bill
