Green Thumb Farm October 2017 Newsletter

October 23, 2017

Hello Green Thumb CSA family, We’re getting close to the end of October, which is crazy to think about, but the weather has still been quite warm and beautiful for the most part! Most of the summer-time produce is coming to an end, the last of the tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants are still trickling out of the field. Thank you to all members that made it out to our annual ‘CSA Fall Harvest Tour’ last weekend! We had a great time showing you around the farm and stimulating some wonderful discussions. It’s always nice to hear your feedback, and to answer any questions that arise throughout the busy seasons! We dug our sweet potatoes a couple weeks ago, and they have been curing in our greenhouse since then, to make them nice and sweet for you all! They have begun getting put into storage and being shipped out to our CSA groups and sold at the farm stand. We hope you all have been enjoying the produce that you’ve been receiving, and look forward to seeing you! Talk to you soon.

Organically Yours,

The Green Thumb Farm Family
