I just received a call from Farmer Bill this morning and tomato shares in a very limited quantity will be available for the next 4 weeks.

The tomatoes are Italian Red "Paste" or "Plum" tomatoes and are perfect for tomato sauce and canning. They are being sold in 20 lb. boxes for $35 a box. Please follow the directions below for your orders. Please note that if you want a delivery for TOMORROW, you MUST order by noon today.

Directions for Tomato share orders:

-Deadline for Tuesday delivery is noon the Monday before but as the farm serves other CSAs and these are first come first serve, getting your order in as soon as possible is encouraged.
-Call Green Thumb Farm directly to place your order. The phone number is (631) 726-1900. Have your credit card ready as you will be paying the farm directly for your order.
- Make sure that you not only tell the farm your name but what CSA you belong to. The order must be marked "Hellgate CSA - Queens" for proper delivery. The farm serves several CSAs and Green Thumb's truck delivers to both Brooklyn and us on Tuesdays!
