A few asked what to do with the lavender and I just wanted to share a tasty recipe I created last night. Braise a bunch of the radishes (whole) in a covered frying pan filled half the height of the radishes with water (or stock) seasoned with salt, pepper, minced garlic and 2-4 sticks of the lavender flowers chopped (remove the sticks) for 5 minutes or until soft to your liking. Then throw the radish leaves (chopped) in for a minute, strain and serve. What a unique summer flavor! Thank you farmer Bill.
