Hellgate CSA 2010 Season Special Event
Pumpkin Tour and Hayride at Green Thumb Farm!

The bus leaves at 9:00 a.m. from the parking lot at Astoria Park and returns at about 4:00 p.m.

In between, we'll take a hayride of the CSA's primary farm, visit their farmstand, indulge in the sights, smells, and tastes of autumn, and take home a free pumpkin.

Please bring a sack lunch.  

Kids of all ages welcome!

If you don't want to travel on the bus, you can get there under your own steam and still join the tour.  You'll want to get there around 11 a.m., and the trip takes a little under two hours.  See http://hellgatecsapumpkins.eventbrite.com for map and directions.

Note:  The farm--and we--originally set this event for October 16, but (as with the Strawberry Tour in June) the growing season requires moving it back a week.  This is the essential CSA experience:  we gotta do what Mother Nature dictates.
