In addition to the regular shares we also have the additional perk of ordering with Lewis Waite. They are a family farm upstate who partners with other small family run producers to bring us a wide variety of farm fresh, all natural, artisanal, and organic products. Ordering is happening now for next week!  They offer a range of products from breads, flours, grains, preserves and fermented foods. They offer a variety of meat and dairy, including yogurt, cheese and eggs. Delivery is approximately twice per month during our regular season. You can find the schedule on our website http://hellgatecsa.net/lewis-waite. Items are ordered a la carte so you may order as little or as much as you like but they also offer ‘shares’ for your convenience. These can be found under ‘shares’ on their order site. The various share options are a Bread Share, a Coffee Share, Cheese Share, Omnivore, Carnivore, and Vegetarian.  They are happy to answer any questions by email and take special requests.

“I have been ordering meat, cheese, bread and other products from Lewis Waite for several years, and they are always wonderful.  Not only is the meet grass fed and sustainably farmed, it just tastes better.  And we recently got the most amazing cheese (frere fumante from 3-corner farm) -- almost like aged Gouda but with a fresh finish -- that wowed our guests.  If you are not sure what to get, they also have a share program, where for a set fee, they send you a variety of products.  We chose the omnivore share and were introduced to all kinds of new things (some of which are now must-haves, like marinated feta), but you could get a cheese share or a bread share.  I could say so much more, but in the interest of longevity, just do it!
