I barely put the knife into my fruit-share melon on Saturday...and it blew up. Liquid and seeds shot out in a powerful plume, like a volcano erupting all over my kitchen and me. Really dramatic in retrospect, and REALLY messy at the time! Definitely suitable for America's Funniest.... (if you haven't cut open your melon yet, get out the video camera first).
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way to let the fruit farm know?
Thought I would start a forum topic about missing pick-up. If you are going on vacation, perhaps another member would like an extra share that week. When they go on vacation they can pay you back or pay it forward.
